Overview
Chopta to Tungnath is one of the most captivating treks in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India.
Chopta, lovingly known as the “Mini Switzerland of India,” serves as the picturesque starting point of this scenic adventure. From here, the trail gently ascends toward Tungnath, home to the highest Shiva temple in the world, perched at an elevation of approximately 12,073 feet.
